We invite you to take part of the 6th Annual Leadership Summit hosted by SSP where businesses will have the opportunity to meet with local LatinX community leaders and new consumers.

In Wake County alone, the LatinX - Hispanic population has continued to gain a greater presence on the consumer and entrepreneurship stage, opening new businesses and wielding greater buying power. According to the Governor's Office of Hispanic/Latino Affairs, The LatinX community would hold a purchasing power of $346 million by 2014. In 2019, this sector continues to grow, including over 21,000 firms Latin owned firms that have spent close to $4.2 billion dollars in their own business and employees.

Green Planet! Integral Leadership Summit of 2019 offers you a unique opportunity to directly reach this emerging demographic and exchange a variety of ideas and solutions that are much needed within the community and to your business. Additionally, Latin business leaders from the local community will be on hand looking to make exciting new connections. This is your time to interact and learn about the what is important to this demographic.

This year's theme, "Green Planet!" focuses on the great impact climate change is having both locally and world-wide, and how businesses can mitigate the many consequences that can impact their own success. This is a topic that is very important to the LatinX/Hispanic community and several events have been planned for the summit to engage business and community members alike.

Business participating in the Business Expo portion are invited to also join us for the Leadership Summit and learn how Climate Change will impact you. This will include a round-table discussion, leadership workshops, and keynote speaker.
